Last Saturday I managed to damage my back playing cricket. I got no sympathy at home mainly because my back is dodgy at the best of times and Louise suggested not playing might be a good idea.
I got even less sympathy on Sunday morning (wasn’t able to move) which by Monday morning had manifested into pure rage (we have the small matter of a 5 week old girl at home to look after and Lou was doing everything) so I decided that I better get it fixed quick & after 2 bouts of physio, 1 session of acupuncture and a dozen hot baths, I just about made it up to Bradford for this weeks Business Link SEO event in Bradford.
The venue was the Great Victoria Hotel and having presented their a few times now, getting there was pretty easy. Thanks to the staff who helped me get organised (carrying a laptop and handouts not so easy on crutches) – the bar stool was a much needed relief!
The session was a good one and we had a full house of delegates. Special thanks to Anna (Business Link Exec) who looked after me on the day and made sure I made it back to the car park in one piece!
